Saint-Hyacinthe, QC (Canada) - Jefo, a global leader in high
performance non-medicated nutritional solutions for animals, announced during their
Poultry & Swine Tour, held from August 27th to 31st in St-Hyacinthe, the arrival of
three new swine experts to their global team. The company, which produces and
commercializes species-specific products, including selected blends of organic acids
and essential oils, enzymes, protected zinc oxide, and other solutions for swine
production, hired Dr. Marcio Gonçalves as Global Technical Manager – Swine, Dr.
Zhenbin Zhang as Territory Manager Monogastric for Manitoba, and Dr. Roger
Campbell as Senior Swine Nutritionist.
Dr. Marcio Gonçalves earned his PhD in applied swine nutrition from Kansas State
University and brings over 11 years of solid experience in swine production through
nutrition, research and development in North and South America. Original from
Brazil, where he earned his veterinary medicine degree from the Federal University
of Rio Grande do Sul, Marcio is based in the United States. He will lead Jefo’s global
technical services for swine and provide support to the US sales team.
Dr. Zhenbin Zhang received his PhD from the University of Manitoba and his MSc
and BSc in animal nutrition from the Northeast Agricultural University, Harbin,
Heilongjiang, China. With seventeen years of solid experience in feed, nutrition,
research and development in swine, poultry and aquaculture, Zhenbin will be
servicing existing accounts and increasing sales in Manitoba for monogastric
products. His R&D background and close relationship with the current market, he will
be a key resource for Jefo’s I&D team.
Dr. Roger Campbell has a PhD in nutrition and physiology and a long career in
research and commercial production both in the Australian and in the international
swine industry. Roger is based in Adelaide, Australia, and will consult to Jefo’s I&D
program for swine and support the International Swine Team.
