Quebec City, Quebec - Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada

The governments of Canada and Quebec are providing funding up to $10,850 to Cassis de l’Isle Ensorceleuse Monna et Fils inc., better known as Cassis Monna et Filles, to create new branding for its new spirits and new line of jams. In addition, the funding will allow the company to reflect on the branding of its current products. This support is being provided through the Lever Program of the Quebec Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, under the Canada-Quebec agreement Growing Forward 2.

Jean-Claude Poissant, M.P. for La Prairie and Parliamentary Secretary to Lawrence MacAulay, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, and Caroline Simard, MNA for Charlevoix‑Côte‑de‑Beaupré and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Tourism, on behalf of Laurent Lessard, Quebec Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, made the announcement, specifying that the Lever Program aims to increase the competitiveness of food processing companies in Quebec, in a context of market globalization, and to support the sustainable development of the sector.
