USDA: Agricultural Prices Received by Farmers

The April All Farm Products Index is 174 percent of its 1990-1992 base, up
1.2 percent from the March index and 26 percent above the April 2010 index.

All crops: The April index, at 195, increased 0.5 percent from March and is
30 percent above April 2010. Index increases for feed grains & hay, food
grains, fruits & nuts, potatoes & dry beans, oilseeds, and cotton more than
offset the decrease in the commercial vegetables index.

Food grains: The April index, at 252, is 8.2 percent above the previous month
and 54 percent above a year ago. The April all wheat price, at $8.18 per
bushel, is up 64 cents from March and $3.77 above April 2010.

Feed grains & hay: The April index, at 264, is up 15 percent from last month
and 78 percent above a year ago. The corn price, at $6.40 per bushel, is up
87 cents from last month and $2.99 above April 2010. The all hay price, at
$141.00 per ton, is up $17.00 from March and $33.00 from last April. Sorghum
grain, at $11.80 per cwt, is $1.20 above March and $6.41 above April last
year.

Cotton, Upland: The April index, at 138, is up 1.5 percent from March and
25 percent above last year. The April price, at 83.9 cents per pound, is up
1.6 cents from the previous month and 17.2 cents above last April.

Oilseeds: The April index, at 230, is up 0.9 percent from March and
36 percent higher than April 2010. The soybean price, at $12.80 per bushel,
increased 10 cents from March and is $3.33 above April 2010.

Fruits & nuts: The April index, at 148, is up 4.2 percent from March and
9.6 percent higher than a year ago. Price increases for strawberries,
oranges, and lemons more than offset price decreases for apples, pears, and
grapefruit.

Commercial vegetables: The April index, at 173, is down 21 percent from last
month and 8.9 percent below April 2010. Price declines for lettuce, sweet
corn, celery, and tomatoes more than offset price increases during April for
asparagus, carrots, and snap beans.

Potatoes & dry beans: The April index, at 191, is up 5.5 percent from last
month and 30 percent above April 2010. The all potato price, at $11.41 per
cwt, is up 67 cents from March and up $2.99 from last April. The all dry bean
price, at $31.10 per cwt, is up $1.00 from the previous month and 50 cents
above April 2010.

Livestock and products: The April index, at 156, is 2.6 percent above last
month and up 22 percent from April 2010. Compared with a year ago, prices are
higher for cattle, milk, hogs, eggs, turkeys, and calves. Broilers were
unchanged.

Meat animals: The April index, at 159, is up 5.3 percent from last month and
24 percent higher than last year. The April hog price, at $67.10 per cwt, is
up $4.00 from March and $10.60 higher than a year ago. The April beef cattle
price of $120 per cwt is up $5.00 from last month and $24.40 higher than
April 2010.

Dairy products: The April index, at 151, is down 3.2 percent from a month ago
but 35 percent higher than April last year. The April all milk price of
$19.70 per cwt is 70 cents lower than last month but $5.10 higher than April
2010.

Poultry & eggs: The April index, at 158, is up 5.3 percent from March and
8.2 percent above a year ago. The April market egg price, at 88.7 cents per
dozen, increased 23.5 cents from March and is 28.8 cents above April 2010.
The April broiler price, at 49.0 cents per pound, is unchanged from March and
a year ago. The April turkey price, at 64.0 cents per pound, is up 4.1 cents
from the previous month and up 10.3 cents from a year earlier.
