On behalf of the entire team at
Viterra, welcome to Canada’s
Farm Show. This is our fifteenth
consecutive year as presenting
sponsor, and we are excited to
once again be a part of this
important forum for innovation,
collaboration, and education.
For over 40 years, Canada’s
Farm Show has been a showcase
for the best products, services, and innovations in
agriculture. It’s provided an outstanding opportunity for
like-minded people from here at home and over 50
countries to engage in meaningful dialogue about our
industry – an industry that I firmly believe is the most
important and dynamic one in the world.
Canada’s Farm Show and Viterra are well aligned in
this regard. We both recognize the importance of
sharing knowledge and exchanging ideas. Our mutual
interest is in improving the business of agriculture and
this is an excellent way for people to come together and
do that.
Just like our industry continues to innovate and
evolve, so too does Canada’s Farm Show. While circum-
stances have prevented us from hosting an in-person
show over the last couple of years, it also provided us
with an opportunity to step back and come up with new
ways to ensure the show remains engaging and mean-
ingful for all participants. There have been many people
working hard behind the scenes to accomplish this, and
I thank you for your efforts.
It is this same resiliency that drives our farmers to be
the best at the world at what they do – growing high
quality crops in a sustainable manner to help feed the
world. It is their hard work, creativity, and ability to
innovate that is moving our industry forward and will
support Canada’s reputation as a safe and reliable
supplier of food ingredients today and well into the
future.
I would like to thank the dedicated group of organiz-
ers whose efforts continue to make one of Canada’s
largest tradeshows a great success. To all of this year’s
attendees, I hope you enjoy everything the 2022 edition
of Canada’s Farm Show has to offer.
