Agstar: Russia Considers Re-opening Imports of U.S. Pork

A few cases of swine fever have cropped up in the EU prompting Russia to consider re-opening imports of United States pork. The EU supplies 60% of the pork to Russia so a boost to the U.S. if those EU imports are stopped. In light of this global news and Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea virus (PEDv) concerns, lean hog futures are hitting record highs again.
