Cropp: Monthly Dairy Report

When dairy economist Bob Cropp began producing his monthly dairy situation and outlook report 38 years ago, distribution involved licking a lot of stamps and envelopes. He went the electronic route years ago, but as of this month he has a new venue. He teamed up with Mark Stephenson, CALS director of dairy policy, to produce the pilot for a  monthly 10-minute video podcast version with a Q&A format (Stephenson is the “Q” and Cropp is the “A”).  Eventually Stephenson hopes to expand the cast by bringing in out-of-town experts via phone or Skype.
