Corn: Net sales of 432,300 MT for delivery in 2009/10 were down 30 percent from the previous week and 29 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were reported for Japan (265,200 MT, including 112,300 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 80,800 MT), Mexico (118,800 MT), South Korea (94,200 MT, including 46,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 100 MT), Egypt (64,300 MT, including 60,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 1,800 MT), Saudi Arabia (56,100 MT, switched from unknown destinations), Jordan (52,300 MT, including 51,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), and Taiwan (40,100 MT). Barley: There were no sales or exports reported during the week.
Sorghum: Net sales reductions of 9,500 MT resulted as increases for Japan (5,900 MT, switched from unknown destinations) and Mexico (500 MT), were more than offset by decreases for Chile (10,000 MT) and unknown destinations (5,900 MT). Net sales of 12,100 MT for delivery in 2010/11 were for unknown destinations. Exports of 20,800 MT were to Mexico (14,900 MT) and Japan (5,900 MT).
Rice: Net sales of 81,700 MT were up noticeably from the previous week and 51 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were reported for Venezuela (30,000 MT), Mexico (26,600 MT), Haiti (7,500 MT), Panama (6,700 MT), and Guatemala (4,500 MT). Decreases were reported for Jordan (1,300 MT). Net sales of 6,000 MT for delivery in 2010/11 were for Ghana. Exports of 29,900 MT were down 63 percent from the previous week and 65 percent from the prior 4-week average. The primary destinations were Japan (12,800 MT), Mexico (4,400 MT), Canada (3,100 MT), Jordan (2,200 MT), and Saudi Arabia (1,400 MT).

Soybean Oil: Net sales of 3,200 MT for delivery in 2009/10 were up noticeably from the previous week, but down 50 percent from the prior 4-week average. Exports of 477,700 pieces were up 13 percent from the previous week and 4 percent from the prior 4-week average. Whole cattle hides export of 473,600 pieces were primarily to China (234,800 pieces), South Korea (115,400 pieces), Taiwan (44,800 pieces), Mexico (17,400 pieces), and Thailand (14,800 pieces).
Net sales of 156,200 wet blues for delivery in 2010 were up 95 percent from the previous week and 23 percent from the prior 4-week average. The primary buyers were China (42,400 unsplit), Mexico (33,400 grain splits and 200 unsplit), Italy (33,200 unspit), the Dominican Republic (23,300 unsplit), and Vietnam (14,800 unsplit). Decreases were reported for Thailand (6,900 unsplit). Beef: Net sales of 12,800 MT were down 23 percent from the previous week, but up 8 percent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were reported for Mexico (5,600 MT), South Korea (1,700 MT), Canada (1,100 MT), Taiwan (1,100 MT), and Hong Kong (1,100 MT). Exports of 13,800 MT--a marketing-year high--were primarily to Mexico (3,800 MT), South Korea (3,000 MT), Japan (2,500 MT), Canada (2,100 MT), and Taiwan (900 MT).
