Live Cattle Commodity Update for the Week Ending Dec 01, 2023

The week of Nov 27, 2023 saw the price of live cattle end at 169.125. Compared to last week’s ending price of 170.975 the price of live cattle dropped by 1.1%.

The lowest price point for live cattle during the week occurred on Nov 27, 2023 when the price was at 168.825.

In the span of a month, the price of live cattle dropped by 8.7%. At this time last month, live cattle was at 185.175 and have since dropped to 169.125.

Live cattle has also seen an improvement from last year. At this time in 2022, the price was at 166.125. The change in prices from a year ago represents an increase of 1.8%.
