Amanda Brodhagen is a self-proclaimed “agvocate” who has a passion for agriculture and politics. She is knowledgeable on current agriculture affairs in Canada and the U.S. and holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Political Science. The rural roots run deep as she is also a proud fifth generation farm girl; and helps her parents manage a cow-calf beef operation. Not only is she a primary producer, working on bringing food from the farm gate to your plate, she is a trained and experienced agricultural advocacy ambassador, and has a passion for narrating the agricultural message to bring awareness and cultivate a greater appreciation for farming and food. No stranger to the agricultural community she has served as President of the Canadian Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow Chapter and represented her community at a national scale at the Canadian Young Speakers for Agriculture competition at the Royal Winter Fair.
