Post a classified ad on www.farms.com/classifieds during the contest period to be automatically entered in the draw to win. Each classified ad posted is a ballot for the draw. Refer a friend to Farms.com Classifieds and receive a ballot entry for every friend you refer who posts a classified ad.

• Only farming and agriculture related classified ads qualify.
• Contest Entries must be submitted by September14, 2015, 11:59 pm.
• Dealerships or businesses do not qualify for contest. Classified ads that promote a business or it’s products are ineligible. Farmers are an exception and are eligible for the contest.
• Any classified ads that are suspected as fake, spam, fraud, inappropriate, duplicated, or irrelevant to farming will be ineligible for draw. It will be at the discretion of the manager of Farms.com Classifieds website to determine what ads and entries are eligible for the contest and may disqualify entries that do not comply with the rules.
• Residents of Canada only (residents of Quebec are not eligible)
• A valid email and phone number must be provided in the classified ad to be eligible.
• Two winners will be selected and announced in fall 2015.
• Prize may not be exactly as shown.

Visit https://www.farms.com/classifieds/submit-online-classified.aspx (the Classified “Website”) and complete the Official Contest Entry Form (the “Entry Form”). The entry form requires draw participants to add a Classified ad for any farming or agriculture items/animal wanted or for sale. Follow the on-screen instructions to add your classified ad. Fully complete the Entry Form with all required information, which requires you to:

1. Enter your postal code, daytime telephone number (including area code), and a valid email address.
2. Subscribe to the Farms.com newsletter (distributed three times per week)
3. By submitting a classified ad, or by completing the refer a friend form, you agree that you have read and agree to be legally bound by the terms and conditions of these Rules.

Once you have fully completed the Entry Form with all required information, follow the on-screen instructions to submit your completed Entry Form (the “Entry”).

No purchase is necessary to enter the contest. To enter, you must comply with the eligibility criteria set out in these Contest Rules, during the Contest Period. You will also be subscribed to the Farms.com Newsletter (Eastern Canada News Update or Western Canadian News Update as appropriate based on geography) You may unsubscribe at any time.

If you are not able to obtain a contest entry through one of these venues, and you would like to participate, Please print your first name, last name, telephone number and complete mailing address (including postal code) on a plain white piece of paper, and a 50-word essay on why farm classifieds differ from urban classifieds, and mail it (in an envelope with sufficient postage to Farms.com Classified Contest (Request for Entry), 52 Royal Road Unit A, Guelph, ON, N1H 1G3 (collectively, the “Request”). Upon receipt of a Request in accordance with these Rules, you will receive (per unique and original Request) one (1) Ballot. To be eligible, each Request must: (i) be received separately in a single envelope bearing sufficient postage (i.e. multiple Requests in the same envelope will be void); and (ii) be received during the Contest Period. One request per household.

Entrants must comply with the following conditions, otherwise the Contest Organizers reserve the right to cancel one or more of their entries and/or disqualify the entrant from participating in the Contest.

All entries shall become the property of Farms.com Canada Inc. Farms.com is not responsible for lost, misdirected or delayed entries. The prize may include one of the following:

The approximate retail value of a prize can vary and is available upon request at the time of prize redemption. If you are a declared winner, your prize will be shipped to you or an appropriate dealer near you as outlined by the Contest Judges. Potential winners will be required to furnish proof of identification such as a driver's license and will be required to answer a skill testing question. All expenses other than those specifically mentioned above as included shall be assumed by the winner.

The contest is open to people residing in Canada. Employees of Farms.com, its contest sponsors, advertising and promotional agencies and their respective affiliates and associates and such employees’ immediate family members and persons with whom such employees are domiciled are excluded from this contest.

The Prizes are not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded.

There is a limit of one prize per person, per household.

The odds of a participant’s entry being randomly selected depend upon the number of entries received in accordance with the Contest Rules.

Entries received online shall be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the entry. For the purpose of the Contest Rules, “authorized account holder” of an email address is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Each selected entrant may be required to provide the Sponsors with proof that the selected entrant is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry.

Decisions of the prize judges are final – no substitutions will be available.

By claiming the prize, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation of his or her name, and/or likeness, and/or voice/photograph, and municipality of residence for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium (including without limitation, radio broadcasts, newspapers and other publications and in television or film releases, slides, videotape, istribution over the internet and picture data storage) which Farms.com may deem appropriate.

In accepting the prize, the winner, and any guest(s), acknowledges that Farms.com may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using this prize(s).

Farms.com retains the rights, in its absolute and sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of any prize or component of the prize for any reason whatsoever.

Farms.com reserves the right to withdraw or terminate this contest at any time without prior notice.

Contest open to residents of Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia only.

how to claim a prize

The Contest Organizers must be able to reach the potential winner within fifteen (15) days, or another winner may be chosen. Winners must answer correctly, unaided, a time limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered on a publicity release and liability waiver form (hereinafter: the “Release Form”) sent by the Contest Organizers];

By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Contest Rules. In the event the potential or declared winner fails to comply with any one of the conditions set out above or any other conditions set out in these Contest Rules, the Contest Organizers reserve the right to disqualify such entrant from the Contest and if time allows, a new draw for the prize will be held in accordance with these Contest Rules, until an entrant is selected and declared a winner, without affecting the order in which other prizes are awarded.

General Conditions

Farms.com is not liable for faulty computer components, software, or links; the loss or non-existence of communications capability; or faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible, or erased computer or network transmissions that make it difficult, or render a user unable, to enter the contest; problems with any website or website feature howsoever caused, the malfunction of, or damage caused to, any telephone or network or lines, computer equipment, data or software, online systems, servers or access providers; or the security or privacy of information transmitted via computer networks; or for breaches of privacy due to interference by third party computer “hackers” Further, Farms.com assumes no responsibility for entries lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected.

The Beneficiaries do not guarantee access to or non-interruption of the Website during the Contest Period or that it will be exempt from any errors.
