Although late blight has not been found so far this growing season, conditions are excellent for its development and spread. Rob Spencer, commercial horticulture specialist with Alberta Agriculture, recommends all growers of potatoes and tomatoes be extra vigilant in checking for the disease. He spoke with our Caitlynn Reesor.
