Northern corn leaf blight is present most years, but has recently developed rapidly across Indiana. The high humidity and heavy dews have contributed to disease development, and in some fields the disease is at concerning levels. Some fields with northern corn leaf blight have had a bacterial disease, Goss’s wilt, in the past. It is important to distinguish the differences in these similar looking diseases.
