Agribition Wraps Up After Another Successful Year

It was a year of change at Canadian Western Agribition.

“We made a lot of changes to both our programming and our facilities. And we’re really gratified with the results of those,” said Stewart Stone, CWA president.

Saturday was the final day of the six-day-long show. This year saw the additions of the partially complete International Trade Centre and Pro Rodeo, amongst other things.

“I haven’t had one negative comment all week on (the ITC) and maybe it’s my filter but exhibitors are just thrilled with the building,” Stone said.

“They’re actually more excited about the potential of the building once it’s done, but we were able to fit everybody in this week that we had last year.”

CWA had use of about half of the building and housed livestock in it including cattle, horses and sheep along with holding the sheep show and sales and goat show in it.
