Producers growing canola will be interested to know the small plot data results from the 2016 Canola Performance Trials.
The results, available online at canolaperformancetrials.ca, tested all varieties of canola with all herbicide systems, and the results are sorted by season zone.
Nicole Philp, agronomy specialist with the Canola Council of Canada, says the data was collected over 13 sites across the prairies.
"A little lower than our typical year but, as many people know, there was many challenges out there," she explained.
Philip noted there was about four sites in Manitoba.
Philp adds the results from the field scale trials will be posted on the Canola Performance Trials website as soon as possible.
