Concerns for Saskatchewan Farmers

A growing moose population in the Saskatchewan grainbelt is raising concern about rising crop losses.
 
Ryan Brook, Wildlife biologist with the University of Saskatchewan has completed a study on the thriving and growing Moose population in the farmland area of the province.
 
He says there are some concerns about rising crop losses.
 
Brook says there are few predators in the grainbelt and Moose are thriving on the many tree-lined potholes in the grainbelt.
