Don't Graze Too Early

 
While the snow may be gone and the first bit of green is coming up from the ground, turning animals onto pastures while grass plants are still small, succulent, and their second leaf barely fully emerged, may be doing more harm than good. Karin Lindquist, forage/beef specialist with Alberta Agriculture and Forestry, explains.
