DuPont Pioneer and DuPont Crop Protection officially welcomed the community to their 6,600-square-foot-office at 510 Cope Way in Saskatoon today during an official open house.

“This office enables DuPont Pioneer to deliver more focused and defined market approaches in Western Canada, including agronomic support and services to increase our growers’ productivity,” says Ian Grant, president, DuPont Pioneer Canada.

DuPont Pioneer and DuPont Crop Protection are committed to the growth of agriculture in Western Canada through increased investments such as Pioneer’s early maturity corn hybrids and soybean varieties, and cutting edge technologies like Optimum® GLY canola.

“Enabling growers to be competitive in the marketplace is important to Pioneer, which is why we continue to bring strong yields, agronomic performance and local expertise to our customers,” says Grant.

“With this new office, DuPont Crop Protection is strengthening our presence and commitment to Western Canada, as well as introducing exciting new crop protection technology that help farmers make the most of every acre and contribute to the quality, quantity and sustainability of the world’s food supply,” says Priscila Vansetti, DuPont Canada’s Crop Protection director.

A number of dignitaries, including the Honourable Lyle Stewart, Saskatchewan Minister of Agriculture and Donald Atchison, Mayor of Saskatoon, attended the event and participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony.
