Federal Government Funds Farm Program To Reduce Greenhouse Gases

The federal government is providing 27 million dollars to help farmers reduce greenhouse gas emissions from their farming operations.
 
The new five year investment extends Canada’s existing commitment to support the Global Research Alliance on agricultural greenhouse gases.
 
The alliance is a group of 46 countries which are working together on research into best farm management practices and technologies to reduce greenhouse gases.
