Federal Government Makes Funding Announcements

The federal government has made three recent funding announcements. First, $3.1 million to Competitive Green Technologies to help position Canada as a global leader in using green, sustainable agri-based technologies

They will do that by exploring the use of food byproducts for the manufacture of gums and landscape products, and developing new varieties of wheat, rye and triticale that can be used to produce high-value biochemicals and bioenergy.
