FOOD DAY CANADA SHINES A LIGHT ON CANADIAN CUISINE

Guelph, Ontario - Canada is rich in food and incredible people who help put food on our tables. This has never been more apparent than in 2020. We are inviting Canadians to come together to enjoy our food and give thanks to the people who make it happen on Food Day Canada, Saturday August 1, 2020.

What’s Happening? Canadians will come together to declare Food Day Canada/ Journée des terroirs. We are shopping, cooking, eating and honouring those who produce and prepare our foods across the nation. The spirit of pride will shine as iconic structures are being lit red and white in honour of our Canadian cuisine from Vancouver Island to Newfoundland. Look for the map of locations on FoodDayCanada.ca.
