Hail Damage and Nitrates.

Toxic levels of nitrates in forages is always a possibility whenever the normal growth of plants is disrupted by factors such as hail, drought or frost.

Barry Yaremcio is with the Ag Info Centre. He says there has been a lot of hail lately, and that could be a big problem.
