MB Canola Growers Hires New Executive Director

The Manitoba Canola Growers Association has announced that Delaney Ross Burtnack will become the organization's new executive director.

She'll take over the role from Bill Ross, who is retiring.

“Delaney is an experienced leader who understands the importance of providing value back to farmers. Her background in research, communications and extensive agriculture network will make her an asset to the organization.” shares Chuck Fossay, MCGA president.

Delaney has six years experience as the president and CEO of the Canadian Association of Agri-Retailers. She also has an educational background in agriculture and science from the University of Manitoba.

“I have long recognized the critical role that the canola associations play in protecting and advancing one of Canada’s premiere crops through leading edge research, public outreach, and agronomic information. I couldn’t be more thrilled to join the MCGA team, sharing in the great work that Bill Ross and the staff have established in Manitoba, in order to contribute to the continued advancement of canola research and productivity on behalf of Manitoba’s canola growers.” states Delaney Ross Burtnack.
