Mild Saskatchewan Winter Results In Fewer Reports Of Wildlife In Forage

A relatively mild winter has led to fewer instances of wildlife, such as deer, getting into on-farm hay and forage supplies.

Sean Jacques of the Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corporation says there have been a small number of claims, about 60 in all.

Jacques also reminds producers that the deadline to apply for, renew, or make adjustments to 2016 Crop Insurance coverage is Thursday.
