NDSU Extension field days: A Day in the field with the experts

Designed to bring together farmers, ranchers, and enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds, these field days offer a unique platform to explore the latest research breakthroughs and cutting-edge practices in animal science, agronomy, and horticulture. Prepare to be amazed! 

The 2023 field days have been scheduled as follows: 

  • Central Grasslands Research Extension Center (July 10): From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Central Daylight Time, Streeter will be the hub of groundbreaking insights. 

  • Hettinger Research Extension Center (July 11): Join us in Hettinger from 5-7 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time for an illuminating session, followed by a delectable supper. 

  • Dickinson Research Extension Center (Livestock Tour - July 12): Delve into the world of livestock at Manning Ranch from 9 a.m. to noon Mountain Daylight Time, followed by a delightful lunch. 

  • Dickinson Research Extension Center (Horticulture Tour - July 13): Immerse yourself in the wonders of horticulture from 9 a.m. to noon Mountain Daylight Time, followed by a satisfying lunch. Then, explore the realm of agronomy from 1:30 to 5 p.m.
