Live hog exports to the U-S are up 14 point 4 per cent.

Ron Plain of the University of Missouri reports U-S hog slaughter last week was 1 point 14 million head – up about half a per cent from the week before – up 13 and a half per cent from the same week last year.

Plain says last Thursday’s negotiated carcass price for plant delivered hogs in the U-S was a dollar 19 lower than the week before.
