Ontario Spring Discovery Jersey/Holstein Judging Results

Results of the judging at this year’s Ontario Spring Discovery show have been released.

The show attracted over 200 head of cattle in the Jersey and Holstein categories.

In the Jersey competition, Pleasant Nook Jerseys of Ayr had the Junior Champion, Kentville Farms of Melancthon the Intermediate Champion.

Charlyn Jerseys of Warwick Township in Lambton County took home the Junior Herd Banner, narrowly edging out Paul-Lor Jerseys of Clinton.

Bridon Farms of Paris won the Breeder’s Herd, Premier Breeder and Premier Exhibitor banners.

The Junior Champion in the Holstein Show was a cow owned by Vale-O-Skene Holsteins and Gary Troup of Little Britain and Dakota Doyle of Port Perry.

Intermediate Champion was owned by Quality Holsteins of Vaughan, Agriber Societa Agricola SRL of Italy and Beckridge Holsteins of Keswick.

Those owners also had the Grand Champion Holstein in the show.
