 Saskatchewan Cattle Prices Are Moving Upward In Latest Weekly Summary
 
Saskatchewan feeder steer prices were mainly higher during the past week.
 
The latest summary from the Saskatchewan ministry of Agriculture says feeder steer prices rose as much as 8 dollars a hundredweight for the 600 to 700 pound weight category.
 
On average, feeder steer prices were up just over three dollars per hundredweight over the week.
 
Prices for feeder heifers were steady to higher with prices up as much as 3 dollars 37 cents per hundredweight.
 
The price of D1, D2 slaughter cows rose one dollar 72 cents to average 87 dollars 43 cents per hundredweight.
