Saskatchewan cattle prices were on the rise in the latest weekly summary.
Provincial livestock economist Brad Marceniuk says feeder cattle prices were mainly higher with feeder heifers averaging almost five dollars per hundredweight higher.
The benchmark feeder steer category rose 7 dollars 87 cents to average 213 dollars 25 cents per hundredweight.
Marketings reached 19 thousand 345 head, a gain from 11,340 the previous week.
