Saskatchewan cattlemen optimistic despite price downturn

Cattle prices in Saskatchewan are down from last year’s record levels but ranchers are keeping a positive outlook.
 
There is optimism at the annual Saskatchewan Stock Growers convention in Regina this week.
 
Anne Wasko of Eastend is a long-time cattle industry analyst.
 
She is providing a market update at the Stock Growers convention.
 
She says Saskatchewan cattle markets are expected to remain 20 to 30 per-cent below last years record levels, but still the third best in history.
