Saskatchewan Grain Price Outlook Moving Down In Latest Outlook From G3 Canada

The latest outlook from G3 Canada for durum is down 26 to 29 dollars a ton while canola drops 12 dollars.

Wheat prices are little changed.

In the past month, wheat futures have traded sideways to slightly higher while canola and durum values have retreated significantly since the November outlook.

G3 Canada says demand has been steady for wheat, durum and canola over the past month and is expected to continue steadily for the next several months.

So far, crop development is progressing well in South America and overall world grain supplies are expected to remain abundant going into the 2017 production season in North America.

The G3 Canada outlook for number one red spring wheat, 12 per-cent protein, is up one dollar a ton at 275 dollars, instore Vancouver or Thunder Bay.
