Seeding is estimated at 40 per-cent complete in the Outlook area, about 230 kilometers northwest of Regina.

Kaeley Kindrachuk, regional crop specialist for the ministry of Agriculture in Outlook, says farmers have made good seeding progress despite three days of rain last week.

She says parts of her region will need more moisture shortly.
