EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. – Zinpro Corporation, the industry leader in performance trace mineral nutrition for livestock, poultry, aquaculture and companion animals, today announced that Matt Douglas has been promoted to regional business enterprise leader – North America. In his new position, Douglas will be responsible for leading the U.S. and Canada sales and the North American regional marketing teams to drive success and sales growth across North America.
Douglas joined the company in 2015 as a key account manager for the Americas sales team, a role in which he was responsible for growing global strategic partnerships. In early 2019, Douglas was promoted to central district sales manager for North America, where he led the company’s U.S. central division sales team. In addition, Douglas has played an integral role in the completion and integration efforts of the company’s acquisition activities.
“Matt has been key to the growth and success of the Americas sales team since joining the company in 2015,” said Russ Wyllie, vice president sales - Americas, Zinpro Corporation. “Now, under Matt’s leadership, we will work to intensify our customer focus, enhance our agility, improve internal collaboration and grow sales in North America. Prior to joining Zinpro, Douglas worked in various roles in the animal nutrition division of a large global food and agriculture company. Douglas earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
