AGCO Introduces AGCO Brand Twine & Net Wrap

AGCO Parts announces the availability of a new AGCO brand product offering of high strength baler twine and net wrap designed exclusively for AGCO hay equipment. This new offering, an addition to our existing line of twine products, provides our AGCO customers a wide variety of twine choices to meet the challenge of any baling environment.

"Our twine products have been rigorously tested to meet the performance needs for each type of baler in the AGCO hay equipment line - large square, round and small square," said Christine Whitfield, marketing manager. "New advances in today's balers require new technology in the manufacture of twine," added Carl Gunnarson, product manager. "Today's bales are made denser and this requires higher quality twine that delivers higher field performance."

Using advanced manufacturing equipment results in fewer raw materials to achieve higher tensile strength, thus reducing the impact on the environment. Only virgin plastic resin is used in the manufacturing process. To protect against light degradation all twine is treated with a UV inhibitor. AGCO Professional Grade baler twine has higher knot strength, and AGCO Advanced baler twine is designed specifically for extreme baling conditions that require increased grip to avoid slippage. AGCO Professional Grade net wrap provides full side to side coverage, while AGCO Advanced net wrap delivers extra strength in the middle; ideal for baling rough crops such as corn stalks.

The new line of AGCO Professional Grade and AGCO Advanced baler twines and net wraps is available in the U.S. and Canada from AGCO Parts dealers, including Massey Ferguson-Hesston, AGCO-Hesston, and Challenger. AGCO is the leading hay equipment provider, manufacturing AGCO, Challenger and Massey Ferguson baling equipment, as well as offering hay preservative systems and the Hay BossTM G2 bale tagging system that records internal bale quality, which can be retrieved with the ease of a consumer bar code.
