Got a minute? Watch out double crop soybeans go from seed to harvest! Double crops had a tough season this year. Wheat actually came off about a week early which is usually good because the double crop being seeded right after gets a head start over most years. However, it was very dry at planting causing the seeds to take a few weeks to emerge. Then a few frosts in early October killed the double crop off before it could fully mature.
