DR. BISHNU ACHARYA

Dr. Bishnu Acharya (PhD) has a knack for

finding unique solutions to tough problems.

Acharya started at USask in September

2020. Acharya’s research strategy is to look

for ways to create value-added products

and processes with sustainable resources. He works with

bioresources to find sustainable solutions with commercial

potential, and develops the technology, opening up new

business opportunities.

CHIEF CADMUS DELORME,

COWESSESS FIRST NATION 

Chief Cadmus Delorme, a Cree and Sault-

eaux, is the Chief of the Cowessess First

Nation. In 2019, Chief Delorme was re-elect-

ed to a second term in office. Under his

leadership, Cowessess First Nation has focused on eco-

nomic self-sustainability for its nation and people and has

moved forward on renewable energy, agriculture, efficiency

in land use initiatives that have created both current and

future business opportunities. This past year, Chief Delo-

rme faced one of the hardest moments as Chief when the

Saulteaux and Cree First Nation made international

headlines with the discovery of potentially 751 unmarked

graves near the former Marieval Indian Residential School.

Shortly after, Cowessess made headlines again as the first

First Nations community to sign an agreement with Ottawa

that returns jurisdiction over children in care to the commu-

nity.

KENRIC EXNER, VITERRA CANADA

Born and raised in Regina, SK, Kenric is an

alumni of the University of Regina’s Faculty

of Business Administration. Employed with

Viterra Canada (and heritage companies )

since 2005, he focuses on Commodity

Merchandising, Trade Execution and Multimodal Logistics.

SUSAN EWART, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

FOR THE SASKATCHEWAN TRUCKING

ASSOCIATION

Susan Ewart is the Executive Director for the

Saskatchewan Trucking Association. As

proactive trusted advisors, the STA is a

knowledgeable membership association that represents

the collective interests of the truck transport industry

through authentic advocacy and education. Susan has had

a 30 year+ career in business/entrepreneurship with a

background in insurance. In 2015, she was awarded the

National Woman of Distinction Award for her contributions

to the Insurance Industry.

PARAG GARG, CNH INDUSTRIAL

Parag Garg is the Chief Digital Officer at

CNH Industrial. Garg has over 20 years of

experience in digital products, technology

and strategy, gained in roles of increasing

importance across a range of sectors

including consumer products, telecommunications, online

retail and technology companies, together with experience

in establishing successful digital technology start-ups.

Parag Garg first joined CNH Industrial in his current role

in 2021, becoming a member of the Company’s Senior

Leadership Team. In 2014 Garg joined Sears Holdings, as

Vice President and General Manager, Connected Solutions.

During his tenure he led the Connected Home and Internet

of Things Product and Strategy and established the Sears

Seattle Tech Office. In 2013, he was appointed as Executive

Technology Advisor to Paul Allen, the American business

magnate, investor and philanthropist, responsible for

supporting Mr. Allen’s personal and professional interests

including investments, museums, sports teams and more.

Parag Garg holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business

Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of

Minnesota, in the United States. He has registered more

than 20 US patents across a range of companies and

industries.

BO HALLBORG, MERCHANDISING,

VITERRA OILSEED PROCESSING

Bo Hallborg is a merchandiser with Viterra’s

oilseed processing group in Regina. He has

been with the Viterra for 11 years with the

last 3 of those in its oilseed processing

group. Bo’s primary responsibility is in the sale of conven-

tional canola/soy oils.

KRISTJAN HEBERT

Kristjan Hebert has been described as one

of the brightest young minds in farming

today. He is a grain and oilseed farmer from

Moosomin, Saskatchewan. Born and raised

on a family farm, he left the farm to get his

business degree with a major in accounting & finance, and

obtained his CPA with Meyers Norris Penny.

In 2008 he returned to the family farm - Hebert Grain

Ventures - in partnership with his wife, and his parents. At

the farm, Kristjan’s passion is solving agriculture’s puzzles in

order to fulfill HGV’s purpose of “Respect the past, Grow

the future!” He is also the co-founder of Maverick Ag

Consulting which provides custom-designed lending,

accounting and insurance solutions to producers.

Hebert Grain Ventures has received the Top Producer

Award in January of 2020 as well as being selected as a win-

ner in the Corteva Agriscience 2021 Global Climate Positive

Leaders Program. Kristjan is widely respected for his

expertise in farm management and is widely thought of as

the face of modern farming in Canada.

ADRIENNE IVEY

Adrienne Ivey is passionate about agricul-

ture. She farms and ranches near Ituna,

Saskatchewan with her husband, Aaron and

her two teenagers Noelle and Cole. They

have a mixed farm with cow/calf, feedlot

and a grain farm.
