Nebraska’s farm cash receipts for 2014 totaled $24.9 billion. More than $6 billion worth of corn and $2 billion worth of soybeans were produced on the 49,100 farms that cover more than 45 million acres. Nebraska’s dairy industry played an important role also, producing more than $298 million worth of milk.
