C&F Green Energy launches its range of small and medium wind turbines on the Canadian market

C&F Green Energy, global leaders in small and medium sized wind turbines, is currently installing a large number of small and medium sized wind turbines on farms across the UK, Ireland, Italy, Japan and a number of other international markets. The Irish manufacturer of small and medium wind turbines developed their 11kW to 250kW range following unprecedented demand for powerful and efficient direct drive wind turbines from farmers, landowners, and businesses across the globe.

C&F Green Energy’s Sales and Marketing Director, Sean Ganley, believes that the wind turbine was a leading attraction at Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show in Woodstock, ON. 'Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show proved a superb platform for our business, with the launch of our range of wind turbines on to the Canadian market. We have invested over $30m of our own funds to date in developing a world-class range of products. Following a decade of intensive development, our class-leading machines feature direct drive, active pitching blades, megawatt technology and unrivalled quality of workmanship. The first North American installations have commenced on individual farms in Vermont in the US, and now we hope to see installations begin across farms and businesses in Canada that are showing a keen interest in owning their own wind turbine to become more energy independent and cut their energy costs.’

Ganley added, 'Wind energy is not the sole preserve of utility-scale, megawatt wind farms. Customers in the market for individual small and medium sized wind turbines have got to see this machine - a low noise, high performance, premium quality wind turbine built to supersede the competition. We offer our customers the unrivaled strength of a multinational company with 30 years manufacturing experience. We are the first wind turbine manufacturer in the world to offer such a comprehensive range of machines, from the small scale at 11kW up to the 250kW, with our 25kW and 100kW machines generating huge interest in Canada, particularly with dairy, hog and poultry farms. I look forward to returning to Canada in the coming weeks to announce our authorized dealer network and meet more of our prospective customers.'

Video: Spring weed control in winter wheat with Broadway® Star (pyroxsulam + florasulam)

#CortevaTalks brings you a short update with Cereal Herbicides Category Manager, Alister McRobbie, on how to get the most out of Broadway® Star.

Significant populations of grassweeds, including ryegrass and brome, can threaten winter wheat yields. Spring applications of a contact graminicide, such as Broadway Star from Corteva Agriscience, can clear problem weeds, allowing crops to grow away in the spring.

Broadway Star (pyroxsulam + florasulam) controls ryegrass, sterile brome, wild oats and a range of broad-leaved weeds such as cleavers. It can be applied to winter wheat up until GS32, but the earlier the application is made, the smaller the weed, and the greater the benefit to the crop. Weeds should be actively growing. A good rule of thumb is that if your grass needs cutting, conditions are right to apply Broadway Star.
