CNH unveils $163m investment for revolutionary combine harvester

In a significant move to advance agricultural machinery, CNH Industrial has announced an investment of 150 million euros (over $163 million). This strategic investment is directed towards upgrading the production of New Holland's CR11 combine harvester at its facility in Zedelgem, Belgium.

The investment will fundamentally transform the production site. The assembly line and logistics area are set for a complete redesign, as CNH Industrial aims to streamline the manufacturing process of the CR11. Recognized as the most productive combine in any field, the CR11 represents the pinnacle of combine harvester technology.

In addition to enhancing the CR11 production, CNH Industrial plans to integrate the production lines of New Holland’s CX and CR series. This move will increase manufacturing flexibility, enabling the simultaneous production of different combine harvester models.

A key feature of this upgrade is the implementation of a wireless, automated system. This system will revolutionize the assembly process, allowing for the efficient production of multiple models on the same line.

CNH Industrial's investment not only underlines its commitment to innovation in agricultural technology but also reflects its dedication to supporting farmers with advanced equipment. The CR11 is set to be a game-changer in the agricultural sector, offering unmatched efficiency and productivity.

This development is a testament to CNH Industrial’s role as a leader in agricultural machinery, continually pushing the boundaries of technology to meet the evolving needs of modern farming.
