Comparing Feed Costs

Reducing feed costs for wintering cows is an objective that can pay huge dividends. Barry Yaremcio, beef/forge specialist at the Ag-Info Centre, says it’s been estimated that for every $1 that you save in winter feed costs, the net profit for the operation increases by $2.48. I spoke  with Yaremcio about feed options and what to consider before switching to less expensive feed.
