One million dollars in forage research projects have recently been approved and are set to get underway. These are the result of a targeted research Call for Proposals for forage related projects put out by Alberta Beef Producers and ALMA, the Alberta Livestock and Meat Agency. Karin Schmid, beef production specialist at Alberta Beef Producers, says forage-related projects are key to the industry.
