
Prior to his legendary bouts with the likes of Muhammad Ali and George Foreman, “Smokin’” Joe Frazier grew up in Beaufort, S.C. on his parents’ 10-acre corn, watermelon and okra farm.
He earned money as a young boy picking tomatoes and other crops.
After defeating Ali in 1971 and earning $2.5 million, Frazier purchased a 368-acre farm for his mother.
