This field of giant corn cobs is located off I-270 in Dublin, Ohio and is a tribute to Sam Frantz, a local farmer who worked with Ohio State University to develop corn hybrids.
The display, which artist Malcolm Cochran completed in 1994, shows 109 life-sized ears of concrete corn. Cochran used a double-cross hybrid called Corn Belt Dent Corn as his inspiration.
