Tom Wargo, who has 10 professional golf victories including the 1993 PGA Seniors’ Championship, spent his childhood on his family’s dairy farm near Marlette, Mich.
He played his first round of golf after a night of partying with friends, but never intended to take the sport seriously.
“I guess I’m not the only boy to grow up on a farm and not know anything about golf,” he told the LA Times in April 1993.
