The Iowa Chops only existed in the American Hockey League for the 2008-09 season as an affiliate to the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks. After that season, Anaheim dropped the Chops as its affiliate and the team eventually folded.
T.J. Trevlyan, who spent his career in the minor leagues, led the team in scoring that year with 47 points (23 goals and 24 assists).
