The Birmingham Bulls existed between 1976 and 1981 in both the Central Hockey League and the World Hockey Association.
The team was based out of Birmingham, Ala. and played out of the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex.
Bob Gould, who played 10 years in the NHL, is the team’s all-time leading scorer when it was in the Central Hockey League with 52 goals.
And Mark Napier, who spent more than a decade in the NHL, leads the team’s World Hockey Association squad in scoring with 93 goals.
