An Australian farmer used hay bales to propose to his girlfriend in December 2015.
Ben Kemp invited his girlfriend Jadine Mold for a helicopter ride to assess some of the damage a bushfire had caused at his farm.
While looking out the helicopter window, Mold discovered that Ben had stacked hay bales to spell out “Will you marry me?” on the fire-damaged farm.
“I had a plan before the fire and I wasn’t going to let it get in the way of my proposal,” Kemp told Daily Mail Australia.
After the couple were back on solid ground, Kemp completed the proposal on one knee and with the engagement ring.
