Rooney to deliver keynote at Farm Bureau’s 2025 event

Lt. Col. Dan Rooney, an esteemed Air Force F-16 pilot and founder of the Folds of Honor Foundation, is set to inspire attendees as the keynote speaker at the 2025 American Farm Bureau Convention.

Taking place in San Antonio, Texas, from January 24-29, the convention will host Rooney on January 26 during the mid general session.

Rooney’s nonprofit, Folds of Honor, has significantly impacted the lives of military and first responder families by providing $290 million in educational scholarships. His keynote will reflect on themes of perseverance and community dedication.

“Farmers, ranchers and members of the military center their lives around hard work, perseverance and dedication,” said AFBF President Zippy Duvall.

The event’s theme, “Step Up, Drive Forward,” aligns with the convention’s focus on leadership and community engagement.

Various workshops will cover critical agricultural topics including policy, mental health, and succession planning. The convention also boasts a comprehensive trade show featuring innovations in agriculture.

For more details or to register, participants should contact their state Farm Bureau office or visit the AFBF website.
