New agreement supports wider adoption of drone crop application technologies
Agri Spray Drones and WinField United have announced a new co-marketing agreement aimed at increasing awareness and use of drone-based crop applications across the agricultural industry. The partnership brings together advanced spray drone systems and trusted crop input technologies to support growers and ag professionals.
Under the agreement, both companies will work together to promote their complementary products through training programs, research activities, field demonstrations, and shared marketing efforts. Each company will also be recognized as a preferred partner within the other’s network, expanding access to retailers, agronomists, service providers, and growers across the United States.
As part of the collaboration, WinField United will gain access to Agri Spray Drones’ latest spray drone systems for testing and research. This will allow the company to study how its adjuvant products perform when applied through drone technology. These insights will help improve recommendations for drone-based applications.
Agri Spray Drones will benefit from WinField United’s agronomic expertise, data analysis, and product specialists. This support will help strengthen training and education for drone operators, distributors, and service providers, ensuring applications are effective and consistent.
"This collaboration helps accelerate how drone application integrates with proven crop input technologies," said Agri Spray Drones CEO and founder, Taylor Moreland. "Working with WinField United gives our network access to trusted agronomic resources and research-based product knowledge that elevates drone application as a dependable and scalable solution for growers."
The agreement includes joint participation at major agricultural events, coordinated training sessions, field demonstrations, Answer Plot activities, and comparative trials. The companies will also develop shared educational materials and exchange data and best practices from research and performance testing.
Drone based applications are gaining popularity due to its ability to improve precision, flexibility, and timing in crop protection and nutrient applications. This partnership aims to give growers and retailers greater confidence in adopting drone technology by combining proven products with advanced application systems.
"WinField United is committed to advancing application technology that helps drive efficiency, consistency, and agronomic performance," said Joe Vaillancourt, Adjuvants Marketing Manager at WinField United. "Collaborating with Agri Spray Drones allows us to better understand how our adjuvant technologies perform under drone application and share those insights with the industry."
By working together, Agri Spray Drones and WinField United are supporting the future of aerial application and helping agriculture move toward more efficient and precise farming practices.
