Real World Fungicide Trials Deliver Yield Benefits

The 2025 BASF Real Results Yield Challenge proved the value of real-world testing by helping farmers evaluate fungicide performance directly in their own fields. The nationwide program involved thousands of growers and hundreds of agricultural retailers working together to compare treated and untreated crop plots.

Participants tested several BASF fungicides under everyday farming conditions. These side-by-side trials allowed farmers to clearly measure yield differences, disease protection, and overall return on investment. The results showed consistent performance across a wide range of locations and growing environments.

Many farmers reported improved crop health and higher yields, even while facing common challenges such as disease pressure and tight profit margins. Fungicide applications helped protect crops at critical growth stages, supporting stronger yield potential and improved farm income.

One participant achieved a notable yield increase of four bushels per acre on soybean fields. Reflecting on the experience, the grower said, “In today’s challenging agriculture economy, you must maximize your yield, and Revylok brings yield to the table.

With the tough commodity pricing we’re facing today, fungicide application is an investment. And Revylok returned on that investment, providing me with real results and extra money in my pocket.”

BASF highlighted that the challenge is designed to give farmers confidence in their crop protection choices. By testing products in real field conditions, growers gain reliable data that support smarter, more profitable decisions.

With strong participation and positive outcomes in 2025, BASF plans to expand the Real Results Yield Challenge in 2026, offering even more farmers the opportunity to see proven results in their own fields.
