The country star drove a Kubota tractor to Caesars Palace

Country star Blake Shelton used a piece of farm equipment to signal he’s not quite finished with his residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

A post on his Instagram account shows Shelton driving down the Vegas strip in an open station Kubota L3970 Premium waving to fans, announcing more dates to his residency, and asking some people what they think of his tractor.

When he arrives at Caesars Palace, Shelton flips the keys to a valet and asks him to go easy on the paint.

Another post shows the tractor in front of The Colosseum Theater at Caesars Palace with the caption, “just what @caesarspalace needed…”

The L3970 is part of Kubota’s compact tractor Grand L70 lineup.

The tractor Shelton drove in Las Vegas has 39 horsepower and 30.9 power take-off horsepower. The L3970 is also available with a cab.

It has a 540 rpm rear PTO and a 2,300 rpm mid PTO to support multiple attachments and implements like mowers, snowblowers, and loaders like the LA1056.

The machine also has Kubota’s intelligent hydrostatic transmission (iHST).

This includes allowing operators to adjust pedal sensitivity, and Stall Guard.

Stall Guard senses engine strain and automatically adjusts the transmission to prevent engine stall while working with heavy loads or thick brush.

Kubota tractors have a special place in Shelton’s life.

His father, Dick, sold Kubota tractors until his passing.

A past post on Shelton’s Instagram account shows a photo of a Kubota M7-172 he purchased from his dad.

Shelton has had a partnership and endorsement deal with Kubota since his “Back to the Honky Tonk” tour in 2023.

Meet Willy: California Farm Bureau’s 2025 Farm Dog of the Year!

We’re excited to introduce Willy, a miniature long-haired dachshund with a big heart and even bigger courage, and the Grand Prize winner of this year’s Farm Dog of the Year Contest!

Willy may be small, but he’s become an indispensable partner on owner Marshal Hagedorn’s forestry and cattle operations in Shasta, Tehama, and Siskiyou counties. Adopted in 2023, he quickly found his place on the ranch, helping manage critters, tagging along for long days in the woods, and offering unwavering companionship during demanding logging work.

Willy has even taken naturally to moving cattle, surprising calves (and more than a few full-grown cows!) with his burst of energy from the tall grass. As Marshal put it: “He goes with me everywhere every single day.”

Congratulations to Willy and his family, a perfect example of how every good farm dog, no matter the size, helps keep California agriculture running strong.
